Ahead exists to help people move from searching to employment with less friction.
A job search is mostly unpaid administrative work performed by someone who is already tired. Finding roles worth reading. Working out whether you actually qualify. Rewriting the same history six different ways. Remembering which of the eleven applications you sent has gone quiet and which never had a person behind it. Most of that labour produces nothing, and all of it lands on the person least able to absorb it.
Aliya is what we built instead. She works alongside you to discover opportunities, prepare for them, track what happens next, and get you ready for interviews. You decide what moves forward. Nothing is submitted anywhere without your explicit approval.
What we will not do
A product in this category can get results quickly by being loose with the truth, so it is worth being specific about the lines we hold.
- We do not invent opportunities. Every role Ahead shows you was read from an employer's own job board, and the page tells you when it was last seen there. Where we have to fall back on example data, it is labelled as example data.
- We do not invent compensation, verification status, or hiring managers. If an employer did not disclose a salary, Aliya says the salary is undisclosed rather than estimating one.
- We do not guarantee a job, an interview, or an offer. Those are the employer's decision and always will be. What we guarantee is our own work — see the Ahead Guarantee.
- We do not read silence as rejection. An employer who has not replied has not replied; that is all Ahead will tell you, because that is all anyone actually knows.
- We do not release your name, résumé or contact details to an employer until you choose to. Employer visibility is off by default.
Where your data goes
Ahead keeps a per-user record of every time your personal information was read, written or shared, and you can read that record yourself at any time on your privacy activity page. That is a live audit trail of your own account, not a policy document — the policy is at Privacy Policy.
